The Jewish Book Read-In
for 2009 - 2010 ~ 5770
November 2, 2009 - January 29, 2010
Why is this Jewish Book Read-In different from all other
Jewish Book Read-Ins?
Because this year, for each Read-In entry we receive, a package of food and Jewish reading material will be sent to a Jewish soldier stationed overseas during Pesah.
- Each participating student will receive a personalized certificate of thanks.
- Each school or synagogue will receive a camera-ready bulletin notice with the names of each student who participated.
Students are also encouraged to send us a picture, card or letter to include in the package!

The Jewish Book Read-In is presented each year in celebration of Jewish Book Month
(November 12 - December 12, 2009).
*The One Book One Jewish Community featured book this year
is All Other Nights, a thrilling historical novel about Jewish Americans
during the Civil War.
